Local Rules
The Rules of Golf of the USGA and these Local Rules govern play.
Defined by the inside points, at ground level, of fence posts of the perimeter fence surrounding golf course. Rule 27-1
· WATER HAZARDS
Identified by yellow stakes and defined by yellow lines. Rule 26-1 Note: Water Hazard on Hole #11 – as an additional option under Rule 26-1, if a ball is in the water hazard, the player may drop a ball under penalty of one stroke in the area marked “ball drop”.
· LATERAL WATER HAZARDS
Identified by red stakes and defined by red lines. Rule 26-1.
· IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTION
Rule 24-2 Note: Railroad ties adjacent to, and within one club length of, artificially surfaced paths are deemed to be part of the same obstruction. Paths in the middle of fairways #6, 7, 13, 14 and 15 are cart paths.
Defined by white lines. Rule 25-1.
Relief is granted “through the green”. Appendix I, 3-a
· STONES IN BUNKERS
Deemed to be movable obstructions, Rule 24-1 applies
In stroke play, a player may play a second ball under Rule 3-3.
May be used as long as the device does not gauge or measure other conditions (e.g. wind or gradient). Decision 14-3/05
Inappropriate behavior including, but not limited to: abusive and vulgar language, non-compliance with PWGA By-laws, Standing Rules, USGA Rules, property destruction, i.e., throwing or breaking clubs, will result in disciplinary action.
